Online applications are invited from Indian Citizen and such other nationals as declared eligible by Government of India for recruitment to the Posts of STAFF NURSE GRADE II in the Cadre of the West Bengal Health Service (Basic Grade) under Health & Family Welfare Department, Government of West Bengal.

STAFF NURSE GRADE- II 
No. of Vacancies: 7615 Nos.
i) GNM: 5000 posts
ii) Basic B.Sc. Nursing: 2381 posts
iii) Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing: 234 posts
Educational Qualification:
i) General Nursing and Midwifery/ Basic B.Sc. (Nursing)/ Post Basic B.Sc. (Nursing) course passed from any recognized Nursing Training School/ College of Nursing.
ii) Candidates should have Registration as Female/ Male Nurse Midwifery from West Bengal Nursing Council.

iii) Knowledge of Bengali/ Nepali both spoken and written.


Age Limit:  Minimum 18 years and maximum 39 years as on 01.01.2018.

Pay Scale:  Rs. 7,100 – 37,600/- with Grade Pay Rs. 3,600/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any — As per Govt. norms.


Application Fee:
Candidates must pay Rs. 210/- as Application Fee. Fee can be paid through Online mode during submission of online application form by using Debit/Credit card or Net banking or any other option available. See officially released advertisement for more details.

NO APPLICATION FEE REQUIRED IN CASE OF SC/ST OF WEST BENGAL AND PWD CANDIDATES.
